Joining Reliable in 2009, Megan Burns quickly rose from Office Manager to General Manager to CEO.  With unwavering dedication and a passion for property management, she has been one of the key building blocks of our organization. She gets pure joy from helping people and problem solving every day. Her biggest accomplishment has been earning the trust and respect of hundreds of homeowners on Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. When she’s not commuting from Beaufort, she can be found spending time with her three dogs and husband, cheering for the Steelers or enjoying a nice glass of pinot grigio.

General Manager

Joining our team as Office Manager in 2016, Karina DiPippo rapidly rose to General Manager. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, she relocated to Charleston from Westchester, New York. Having had a role with an international leader in the food and beverage industry as well as a background in human resources, she comes to us with a variety of skills. Her passion for problem solving and customer service has provided many of our clients and employees with peace of mind. She is always up for a challenge no matter the task and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. When not visiting friends and family in New York or going to a NY Giants game, she loves a vacation in the Caribbean or spending time with her two golden retrievers.

After working nearly 17 years in Retail Management, Sean left behind the busy corporate lifestyle to join us in 2015 as Operations Manager.  His experience includes project management, operations, marketing, and strategic planning. With a “Get It Done” mentality, Sean makes sure he never leaves a job un-finished or a client dissatisfied.  Sean truly gets pleasure from a job well done. When he is not working hard on the Islands, he can be found enjoying the simple things in life, an ice-cold beverage or a good barbecue with friends.

Business Portfolio Manager

After having worked with prominent national home builders in California and North Carolina, Patti relocated with her family to the Charleston area. Since 2012, Patti Tuggle has touched many homes on Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. With a degree in Interior Design, Residential Builders License, and a listening ear she turns client’s dreams into reality. As our Business Portfolio Manager, with over 15 years of experience, she has a unique ability in providing customers with beautiful homes while maintaining livability, functionality and increasing real estate values. When she isn’t busy in the office or doodling up designs, there is always a punch list at home, a project for one of her two grown children to keep her busy, or a good book to read.

Home Inspections Manager

Nearly 9 years ago, after graduating College of Charleston with two degrees, Lora Zidlick joined our company as Administrative Assistant. Since then she has grown steadily and has become a critical component to our business. Today, she oversees our Home Management program as Inspections Manager and ensures all inspectors and homeowners are completely satisfied.  She loves working on The Islands and feels lucky to work in such a beautiful location with great people. Lora enjoys spending time with her daughter, gardening and working on her 1970 Karmann Ghia.

Personal Home Manager

Starting in February 2018, Amanda Whitaker’s bubbly personality and contagious laugh captivated us.  With experience of 15 years in customer service and personal management as well as strong ties to the Seabrook and Kiawah community, it was a no-brainer when we hired her as Personal Home Manager. She has a love for getting to know our customers as well as their families and building trusting relationships with homeowners. When Amanda isn’t devoting her time to her clients or raising two teenagers, she is taking in the ocean views and enjoying life on the water.

After-Hours & Emergency Response Coordinator

Al Fitzgerald is a native of Los Angeles, CA and former UCLA Bruin.  Before moving to Kiawah Island in 2000, he worked 30 years with the Auto Club of So. California Insurance Operations in CA, AZ, NM and TX.  He has been married for 45 years and has one son, Tim, who resides in Chicago. Since 2003, Al has been with the Reliable family. He enjoys getting to know new people and manages our after-hours and emergency phone line. When he is not taking in the beautiful scenery of the Islands, he can be found travelling to new places.

After founding and dedicating many years to building Reliable Property Managers, Bob Montague decided to officially “retire” in August 2020 and take time to enjoy beautiful Seabrook Island with his wife and family.
